One of our most creative team members is Kristina, DELIA'S Cleaners' marketing manager. Kristina started work with the company as a store associate eight years ago while attending Arizona State University. She was already working at a local restaurant and going to school, but needed a second job to help with tuition.
Her first assignment was store associate at the Queen Creek store. Over the years, however, she worked at almost every DELIA'S Cleaners location. Because she is naturally a people person, she became the go-to associate wherever there was a need. Even today when she visits stores, she pitches in to help in the back or with customers.
Kristina took on the job of administrative assistant while still working part-time in the stores. This allowed her work in the main office and to learn more about the company operations. Eventually, a position opened and she started working full time at the headquarters. At that time, most of the marketing was done by Phil Delia, Sr. When he retired, Kristina had the opportunity to apply her education and take on the marketing responsibilities.
During her time with DELIA'S Cleaners, Kristina has created training manuals, information guides, collateral and marketing materials. She is responsible for maintaining the DELIA'S Cleaners brand image as well as managing DELIASCleaners.com, the company's social media, the ValueClub newsletter and all other customer communications. She still loves to spend time in stores as it gives her an opportunity to work with customers, store associates and managers.
