We are collecting clothing for Dress for Success, a nonprofit that empowers women to achieve economic independence, from April 14 to April 30, 2019. By donating gently used professional attire you’ll help women find jobs, gain confidence at work and flourish.
Dress for Success Phoenix has suited more than 11,000 women and distributed more than $1,000,000 in apparel and accessories since it started in 2009. In addition to providing professional attire for women, Dress for Success helps them find and keep jobs.
- The Career Center promotes confidence and professionalism by pairing clients with staff members for one-on-one guidance. Staff members help create superior resumes and cover letters, provide career counseling, conduct mock interviews and facilitate access to professional skills training.
- Job training programs address and eliminate obstacles that may arise during an employment search. Women meet regularly to support and encourage each other through networking and discussions on workplace-related topics.
- Employment Retention programs provide strategies to nurture professional growth and feel more stable in their career and in their ability to develop professional skills.
